### Refugee Flow

- **Country of Origin**: Venezuela, Afghanistan, Syria, Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, DR Congo and Iraq.
- The highest number of refugees between January till August 2021 flew from Venezuela to Peru, with more than 50 thousand people seeking asylum.
- The US, France and Germany accepted the highest number of refugees – with the US accepting more than 100 thousand people from other origin countries; almost 40 thousand from Guatemala and about 30 thousand from Venezuela.
- The UK accepted only 40 thousand refugees – more than 3 times less than the refugees seeking asylum in France.
